国外网友croft_of_darkness在黑暗天使安装目录下发现了一些有趣的东西。其中除了游戏中出现的对白字幕以外，还涉及到了游戏中未能完全阐述的情节，可能是后来Core在Eidos的催促下匆忙推出游戏之时被迫删去的。文件位于位于AOD安装目录下的Data\local文件夹内的TEXT_UK文件（TEXT_后面的字母表示不同的语种），用写字板之类的工具打开即可。其中，可以发现一些并未在游戏中出现的动作的说明。
未出现的动作
这里有一些游戏中没有出现的动作设计，至少我还没有发现。有些动作非常有趣，可能是诸位玩家非常期待的动作
有趣的设计：Lara（或Kurtis）捡起物品以后，再次按Ctrl可以将物品扔掉。
_I can throw this_Pick up an object by pressing the action button, then press the action button once again to throw it.
——我可以把这个东西扔掉，按行动键（ctrl）捡拾物品，再按一次扔掉。
Lara自称这个动作为“猴子荡”，但是动作和四代的猴子荡可不大一样。
_I can monkey swing over that fence by using the fire escape_Standing under the fire escape press the jump button and then hold the action button to grab the rail._Push forward on the left analog stick to monkey swing forward_To let go simply release the action button.
——我可以利用安全门荡过这个栅栏。到安全门下，按跳跃键（alt），然后按住行动键（ctrl）抓住横杆，按<键荡起，放开行动键离开横杆(跃过障碍)。
这里居然还出现一个defend botton（防守键）？游戏中还有这个设置吗？？？？
_How's my sparring skills_Stand in front of the enemy and press the hand to hand and action buttons to punch or kick_To block an attack press the defend button.
——我的拳击技术如何了？在敌人面前时按行动键拳击或者脚踢，防御对方进攻时按防守键。
这里出现一个“psychic boost”，精神推进力？显然是属于Kurtis的能力了。
_This thing won't budge. I'll use a psychic boost._Stand next to the door and select my 'psychic Strength' from the inventory._Then press the action button.
——它不会动的。我必须使用精神推进力。站在门前在菜单中选择“psychic boost”，按行动键使用。
这里还有一个变态的跳跃设计，估计也是Kurtis的，反正他有超能力，爱怎么跳都行。
_That gap's too far. I need to boost my jump_To clear this gap run at the edge and press the jump button._At the apex of the jump press the jump button again.
——这个裂口太宽了。我需要加强跳跃力度。跑向边缘，按跳跃键，到达最高点时再次按跳跃键，以跃过裂口。
原来Kurtis的“千里眼”原本也是可以选的：
_I need to see beyond this door_Select my Farsee ability from the inventory._Move my mind's eye forward by holding the jump button._Steer by using the left analogue stick.
我得看看门那边的情况。在菜单中选择我的Farsee ability，用跳跃键来拉远视角，用<键来掌握视角。
Kurtis这小子好过分阿，还有夜视眼！！这家伙是人吗？？
_It's too dark in here. I need to boost my sight._To use my psychic sight select it from the inventory._Let's finish this quickly.
——这里太黑了，我得加强视力。在菜单中选择psychic sight，动作快点阿！
这是很多玩家在操纵Kurtis时所遗憾的：不能使用宽刃刀！但是事实上，Core Design原本是打算允许玩家操作宽刃刀的！
Blade!_Select the Blade from the inventory._Then Press the combat button. _To throw the Blade press the combat button once again_For multiple targets hold down the combat button then select each target as it appears._Release the combat button to throw the homing Blade.
——宽刃刀！在菜单中选择宽刃刀。按战斗键（估计应该是空格吧）。再按空格投掷。出现多个敌人时按住战斗键，选择好目标，放开战斗键，投掷宽刃刀。
这个能力……我怎么觉得更像是Eckhardt的阿？不会是Kurtis的吧？？
_The strength of my enemies' empowers me._To absorb an enemy's strength press and hold the action button_My psychic strength is increased._Then press the action key.
——我的敌人的能量可以转移给我。要吸取敌人的能量，按住行动键。我的力量增强了。再按行动键放开。
我们在一段预演动画中看到过Lara把自己藏身于一个箱子中，这里指的应该是这个动作了：
_I can hide in here. _This could be a useful hideout.
我可以躲在里面，这是个不错的藏身处。
